Mission 1: Design an approach to elearning as good as face-to-face. Two years and a lot of late nights later we had developed an approach to elearning that we believed to be pretty unique. It uses accelerated learning (learn > explore > recap > act), plenty of vdeo and not a lot of text.

Mission 2: Find a way to get and share great 'insider' content. This bit was simple, at least in theory. Instead of using the usual voice-over actor, wordy and cartoon based nonsense, find the very best subject experts leading in their field. Then help them become both content writer and deliverer, sharing the best tips tricks and insider secrets. We trialled it, people seemed to like it.

Mission 3: Help others, form a community, share in their success. Instead of charging for all the system development work, staff time to film and edit (the edit is a killer...), we decided to do something else different. Why not profit share with the subject experts giving 100% transparency into the performance of the course and share profits.

Mission 4: Extend the system to solve business problems. We want to extend the idea to help more businesses save money. You want repetitive training jobs like staff induction and basic customer service more flexibly and at lower cost. We think we can help do precisely that.

We are web and elearning experts based in Nottingham UK with experience in IT and business training & support of high-growth online communities. Our role is to help make it all happen. To advise, film, edit, host, promote online, support the courses. Also to grow the community of subject experts, co-developers and to help bring business and professionals to the experience as customers of the course.

We simply share 50-50 all income not just profit with the community. Our 50% covers providing all the filming, editing, hosting, financial systems, admin, SEO of the course homepages. Against advice of our accountants we don't charge anything for the filming, editing or launching a course. There are zero fees. The community concept is central to TribalLearn. We will all benefit if we collaborate, share & work together. We believe this is unique in the field of elearning. TribalLearn is different.

The background & our philosophy.
The team have 25+ years in senior positions in IT and web/ebusiness development. We understand training and have all the post-grad qualifications you can have a stick at. More importantly we have personally developed and delivered 1000s of hours of commercial training courses and understand the need for a bottom line benefit from any training.
